Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or place entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside provider operating that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its results. We do not keep or log those search terms on our systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
We retain an email sent to us as needed to answer it. The message remains within our organization unless the law requires disclosure to someone else.
Data We Gather Automatically
Our servers automatically receive certain technical details whenever a page loads:
- Page-view timestamps
- Your device's assigned IP address
- Browser name and version
- Operating system and device category
- Visited pages and the time spent on them
- The referring website, when one is reported
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files saved on a device. We use them with analytics services to understand traffic patterns, including popular pages and exit points. You may block cookies through browser settings, although doing so can change how some site functions behave.

No Criminal-Record Data on File
We neither maintain nor sell a database of personal criminal records. The site publishes general directions to Henry County custodians, the Kentucky State Police Criminal Identification and Records Branch, Kentucky courts, and the Kentucky Sex Offender Registry. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor information is not compiled into consumer reports or third-party dossiers.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the site's search boxes. Their privacy policies, not this policy, govern information submitted through those tools. Because each partner controls its retention and disclosure practices, review its policy before entering a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to sheriff pages, court portals, Kentucky agencies, legal-aid resources, or outside search tools. Once you follow a link away, the destination's privacy terms control. Review them before providing personal information.
Some advertisers can track activity across websites to select ads. That activity occurs through their systems rather than ours.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold. Information may nevertheless be disclosed to:
- Analytics providers measuring site traffic and function
- Search partners processing a submitted query
- Advertising networks serving page ads
- A government or law-enforcement body acting under a valid legal order
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable standard safeguards are used for collected data. No internet-connected system can be guaranteed secure, so we cannot promise that a breach will never occur.
Users Under 18
The site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone younger than 18. If we learn that a minor supplied such information, we will delete it.
Your Data Rights
Kentucky's Open Records Act, KRS 61.870 through 61.884, governs public-agency records, while KRS 61.878 identifies privacy and other exemptions. Those laws do not make this private site a government custodian. Depending on applicable law, you can at minimum:
- Request deletion of your personal data
- Ask what information we hold about you
- Seek correction of inaccurate information
- Decline certain forms of data processing
